'Tis the season to travel and Provident wants to ensure that your vacation lives up to your expectations. There are several precautions and steps you can take to make your summer vacation memorable for the right reasons:

  • Before you hit the road or take to the skies, call us at (800) 632-4600 or (650) 508-0300 or send us a secure e-mail within Account Manager online banking to tell us your name, travel dates, destination(s), which of your cards (ATM, debit, credit) that you would like available, and how we can contact you if needed.
  • Ensure you take alternate methods of payment. For example, take both traveler's checks and cash.
  • Take at least one credit card.
  • Take your Provident Visa Check Card for ATM access and payments both within the U.S. and internationally.
  • Visit this Web site on your computer or mobile device for ATM locations along your travel route.
  • If your credit or Visa check card is lost or stolen, call (800) 449-7728 to block the card and receive a new one.

Keep in mind, there are over 28,000 CO-OP ATMs within the U.S. that offer surcharge-free access. Plus, you'll receive third-party ATM rebates if you have a Provident Super Reward Checking or Mortgage Checking. Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. We wish you happy travels this summer!
